Church History

Immanuel Bible Church began in January of 1967 when eight local families gathered together in prayer, seeking God’s will in regards to starting a new church in Chelsea. In answer to prayer, an agreement was reached to purchase our present building, and it was decided at that time, to call this new assembly, "Immanuel Bible Church," which means "God is with us."  Shortly after the purchase of the building, on April 2, 1967, Immanuel Bible Church held its first Sunday morning service.
