Report on the Summer 2007 TREK to the Creation Museum

Our trek started with a prayer and a five-hour road trip down I-75 with Pastor Dom foraging the way.  When entering the Creation Museum gates, you were greeted by sights of dinosaurs and beautiful gardens… the appearance is similar to a natural history museum but inside you find a completely different view point from our evolutionist friends.  Our trek took us on a tour of seven C’s: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross and Consummation.  The displays included large scale dinosaurs, a flood room with a large scale portion of the ark, Adam & Eve, an archaeological dig site, and various short films supporting evidence of our Creator-God.  We watched an excellent planetarium show that gave great detail to how the planets, stars, galaxy, and universe are situated and, of course, gave all credit to their Designer and Creator!  We lunched in the beautiful gardens adjacent to the museum and played on the swinging bridges.  The museum was a wonderful experience for the IBC Trek kids, especially being brought up in a world that supports evolution.
